This movie is hilarious. But it's probably a little too stupid to watch on its own. It should be seen as the first half of a double feature with Death Proof.

My review
As much as I'm a fan of Tim Burton, I must recognize this as the finest Batman movie. It's far darker, grittier, and more believable than anything that came before. The added realism does lead to the only flaw in this adaptation in that it comes in direct conflict with the utter ridiculousness of the Batman premise. But with a little extra suspension of disbelief, this is a truly awesome movie.
