Who Am I? (1998) [DVD]

One of Jackie Chan's best movies, a lot of fun. Does any other movie have a fight scene where the hero's wearing clogs?

This movie is hilarious. But it's probably a little too stupid to watch on its own. It should be seen as the first half of a double feature with Death Proof.

Batman Begins (2005) [DVD, Deluxe Edition]

My review
As much as I'm a fan of Tim Burton, I must recognize this as the finest Batman movie. It's far darker, grittier, and more believable than anything that came before. The added realism does lead to the only flaw in this adaptation in that it comes in direct conflict with the utter ridiculousness of the Batman premise. But with a little extra suspension of disbelief, this is a truly awesome movie.

Don't let the crappiness of the sequels make you forget how amazing this one was.

Not sure if I believe the premise that every man wants the crap beaten out of him. But I'd probably still join fight club.

The plot is ridiculous, the characters are wacky, and the film treats its subject matter with all seriousness (mostly), which makes for one of the funniest movies of the past few years.

While it may not be Fargo or Lebowski, this early one is still one of the better Coen brothers movies. And Nicolas Cage has never been better since.

Incredibly stupid but a lot of fun. I'm not sure I understand the obsession this movie generates, but I do still enjoy watching it when it appears on cable.
