These bags are ubiquitous in cities across the country. That's because they're so chic. The size is great, and while they come in different colors, this metallic is great for spring. You may not be the most original girl on the block with this bag, but you'll definitely be one of the most stylish.

Beautiful design from Marc Jacobs! I fear that this bag, emtpy, will be quite heavy, what with all of the quilting and chains. Still, if you're not planning to fill it with tons of things, it would make a great, if somewhat dressy, every day bag.

This gorgeous bag is one of the "it" bags this season, especially because patent leather is so big this year. It's already getting knocked off and sold by Canal St. vendors, but you know you want the original! Great for every day, it's a huge bag that can hold your yoga clothes and a paperback, in addition to everything else you carry around.

I love this slouchy bag. Rebecca Minkoff is a definite up-and-comer, in the designer bag scene, so I want to get mine before everyone else!

Gryson is gaining popularity in the designer bag market. While it used to be that you could only find Gryson bags in smaller, boutiques, they are now showing up in big department stores like Saks. I love the masculine/feminine, almost military looks of these bags.

Fun weekend bag with lots of pockets. You don't need to spend an arm and a leg on some fancy logo duffel. This looks great, but isn't so dear that you'll feel bad about putting it down on a subway platform of the floor of a train.

I admit it, I'm a sucker for clutches. I don't know why, but I'm always drawn to purses without handles. Maybe it's because they are totally impractical. I like the retro look of this one. Looks like something my mom would have carried in the 60s (and that I would complain that she didn't save for me to use now).
