Just ordered a replacement pair of chuck taylors from tillys.com. Prices were better than most everywhere else. Checkout was fast and easy, and delivery came as expected. Great site for replenishing basics.

I was surprised by how well these jeans fit when I tried them on. They are fitted without being super-slim, and skinny without being skin-tight. I've got no hips, so I don't know how they'll fit on curvier girls. The denim is a little stiff, even though they do have stretch in them. I'm hoping they soften up after a few washings.

I just got these boots (on sale!) to brave the new york winter. This is real shearling, so the inside is super soft and warm. It comes already waterproofed, so there's no need to deal with the nasty aerosol spray stuff. Plus, it comes with Nike Air technology! I haven't figured out what that does for this shoe, but they are comfortable. I'm normally a size 6, but I was a 6.5 in these. Order a 1/2 size up.

I have the ankle boot version of these boots, and they are perfect! The wedge heel is comfortable and the racing stripe adds an edgy/sporty look to an otherwise pretty suede boot.

My favorite retail store ever. Great service, great products, even better sales! Sadly the online site doesn't always live up to the in store experience, but purchases and returns do work. Recommended.

If you're planning on roasting anything, these half sheet pans are perfect. This thanksgiving, I'm going to be roasting up some sweet potatoes and maybe some brussels sprouts, so I'll need these basic sheet pans for that

This is the easiest can opener to use, hands down. And I'll need this to open my can of pumpkin for pumpkin pie. Canned pumpkin is just as good as fresh and SO MUCH easier.

A great-looking boot at an affordable price! With no zipper, they may be bit of a hassle to get on and off, but they have a great overall look. I particularly like the gray ones (they also come in black).

I like these affordable little storage units. They are lightweight and elegant. I'm getting them in silver and planning to use them as bedside tables. They've also been recognized for their great design -- they're in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art!

9-in. Unicorn Magnum Plus Pepper Mill, Black

This is the ferrari of pepper mills. Named best pepper mill by cooks illustrated, it grinds to different sizes, is easy to fill and looks great. One small issue with it is that the little sliding door sometimes opens up unintentionally, so peppercorns fall out of it, but otherwise, a great product.

This is a great little book of recipes that range from simple to complicated, all centered around the life of its author, Clotilde Dusoulier, a Parisian software engineer turned food writer. She's a voice of her times, focusing her food pursuits on both the affordable and the sublime, with particular attention paid to local products and produce. Clotilde is also the author of the blog chocolateandzucchini.com.

These are so cute, and so affordable for a Marc Jacobs shoe... til you realize it's made out of plastic. Still, very cute design and great for the Spring/Summer!

These bags are ubiquitous in cities across the country. That's because they're so chic. The size is great, and while they come in different colors, this metallic is great for spring. You may not be the most original girl on the block with this bag, but you'll definitely be one of the most stylish.
