Lego Corkscrew and Opener Bar Set
Nov 19, 2007

My review
These things are a great complement to the other Lego household accessories, such as the salt and pepper shakers and egg timer. Unfortunately, unlike the magnets, these don't actually function as lego bricks since they are smooth on the bottom side. The corkscrew is also a bit of a pain to use. These probably get the least use out of my Lego household accessories, since I end up just using a real corkscrew.

The lego egg timer is great! About 3 inches in diameter, features three faces painted on it so when you twist the timer, you can mix and match the faces.

I just got this thing. Except for the fact that one of the hinge pieces came broken (a replacement should be on its way), it's remarkably well-built. It's very heavy, and the four sides/lid are solid wood, not particle board. Inexplicably, the bottom is a thin piece of basically plywood, which feels like if you put anything remotely heavy in it it could break. It's also a bit of a pain to assemble, as each of the circular caps has to be screwed in separately. It looks fantastic though. Kind of hilarious actually to have this giant lego piece sitting in my living room.

It's a 3 foot long star destroyer made out of legos. That's pretty hard to beat.

These things are pretty strong for kitchen refrigerator door type magnets, and as a bonus they are fully functional as lego bricks.

they can be used as lego bricks to build things, or stick them on your fridge to hold your photos and shopping lists. they go great with the rest of the LEGO household appliances: coasters, salt and pepper shaker, egg timer, corkscrew, and bottle opener.

Surprisingly one of the funnest video games I've played in a long time. Very light-hearted and full of humor, and great puzzles that utilize both the properties of lego bricks and the Force. You can't really die so it may not be the most difficult game, but it is a blast to play.

Incredibly detailed and large set, one of the most intricate sets I've put together. Uses standard pieces combined in interesting ways, not too many custom pieces. It isn't the sturdiest thing in the world, but it looks fantastic.

I have three of these. They are great and always bring a smile to anyone who I serve a drink to with them in it. The only drawback is that they cannot in fact be used as lego bricks. Very minor consideration though.
