This is possibly my favorite Pink Floyd album. Some really solid music on here.

Now that my second xbox 360 just died, I have to admit that this is the best next-gen console. It still has a way to go in terms of games, but the hardware is great - plus you get a Blu-ray player thrown in!

Wow - this game is so deep and full of things to explore it's a bit mind-boggling. I could spend hours in there (and do).

These are a solid choice for music production. I picked them up in NYC at the recommendation of the guys at Dale Pro Audio. They sound accurate and well balanced, and are really quite affordable.

AKG K 271 STUDIO CLOSED BACK CIRCUMAURAL HEADPHONE

These are the best sounding headphones I've heard for under $500. I bought them for (personal) studio work, and have been very happy with them. The sound is very clean and accurate - you won't get any distorted or over-resonant bass from these.
One fun feature AKG has added disables the output when you take them off, so you don't have to worry about picking up random sounds from your headphones, while recording. Another is the detachable cable that will hopefully prolong their life if you're one of those people that is always stepping on your cables!

Lightweight, comfortable, and they've lasted me quite a while. I'll probably end up buying another pair once the ones I have wear out.

Good quality, and has a traditional laser-gun look.

This is one crazy piece of software. You can certainly get all kinds of sounds out of it, but look elsewhere for your standard sounds. This synth is more suited to soundscapes/soundtracks, etc. Unlike most other synths there is even an NI DVD tutorial available, which certainly helps to make Absynth more accessible.
