Curious George (2006) [DVD, Anamorphic Widescreen]
Added Nov 10, 2007
My rating
Description
The adventures of Curious George, the inquisitive little guy with an insatiable taste for adventure. George's spunky and fun-loving nature endears him to new friends, but also lands him in a series of (mis-)adventures.
My review
I like Curious George. The kids like Curious George. George never hurt anybody, although he is curious. This movie worked for all ages and the sound track was strong.

Highly durable watch that wears well. Only issue is the paint on the face starts to flake off as it gets scratched with time.

This Is Spinal Tap (1984) [DVD, Special Edition]
Added Sep 20, 2007
My rating
Description
One of the biggest comedy cult hits of the 1980s, this truly inspired mock rockumentary about a fictitious British metal band named Spinal Tap is more than a deadpan sendup of dinosaur rock groups like Deep Purple, Status Quo, and Led Zeppelin. It takes hilarious potshots at every aspect of the music industry -- from vacuous contemporary songwriting to lame-o record promotions to pyrotechnic-obsessed concert performances. Almost entirely improvised, it features hilarious performances by Michael McKean, Harry Shearer, and Christopher Guest as over-the-hill rockers whose hair and egos are a lot bigger than their talent. Director Rob Reiner is the earnest filmmaker who documents the group's disastrous American tour -- which at one point finds them reduced to opening for a puppet show at an amusement park. The "documentary" weaves together performances of Spinal Tap songs like "Smell the Glove" and "Lick My Love Pump," archival footage of the group in an earlier psychedelic incarnation, and interviews in which the dim-witted band members discuss their music and careers. Parodying with understated perfection the ridiculous self-seriousness of many real rockumentaries, Spinal Tap is a comic marvel. MGM's widescreen, special edition DVD includes over an hour of extra footage, audio commentary by the members of the band, rarely seen TV appearances and interviews, Spinal Tap music videos, television commercials and much, much more.
My review
The birth of a new genre - all others that have come after have simply failed trying to top it.

Phil and Teds Sport Buggy Single with Double Seat Strolle...
Added Sep 20, 2007
My rating
Description
Phil and Teds Sport Buggy Single with Double Seat Stroller (Red) - TinyRide.com
My review
The great thing about this stroller is you can get in and out of pretty much any door with it while still having the room for two kids (unlike other side by side double strollers). Downside is it doesn't fold up, so this one doesn't travel well through the subway turnstiles or in the car.
