i usually kill plants.. not this time! i water it 3 times a week, just a half cup of water each time. i keep mine sitting in a bed of rocks also with water. i read that the moisture (from evaporating water in the rocks) helps keep the plant chugging along. the tree looks gorgeous too.

this is the most versatile item in my kitchen arsenal. i've cut back to live in a smaller apartment and i keep this 10 incher on my stove at all times. The Infused Anodized surface is super easy to wash, allows me to use my metal utensils, and cooks to perfection. Top it with a bamboo steamer and it really can do anything.

Sisal rugs are awesome. This particular crate and barrel version has no trim (i hate trim.. it just gets dirty). i have the darker chocolate color and it holds up great and has a hybrid rustic-modern look that i love.

have an old wooden table you inherited? scuffed up the floors? this stuff works so well. it doesn't stain the wood and change the finish, it "enhances" it and makes the wood look alive.
